Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information CalcMyCard (“we,” “us,” or “this site”) collects when you visit, and how it’s used.
Calculator inputs
The numbers you enter into any calculator on this site (balances, interest rates, payments, etc.) are processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. They are never sent to, or stored on, our servers.
Each calculator has a share link. If you use it, your inputs are written into the link’s web address (for example ?balance=5000&apr=24) so the calculator can fill them in when the link is opened. Anyone you send the link to can see those numbers, and the request to open it reaches our server like any other page visit.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a service from Google LLC, to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found the site. When you load a page, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) and receives the page address, the referring site, your browser and device type, screen size, language and approximate location (city or region, worked out from your IP address). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We see only aggregated reports, and we don’t use this data to identify you or for advertising.
The numbers you type into a calculator are never sent to Google Analytics. If you open a share link, the calculator values in its web address are removed before the page address is reported.
You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings, or by using a content blocker. The calculators work the same either way. Google explains how it uses this data at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Advertising
This site does not show ads and does not set advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated before ads are added, and it will name each provider and explain how to opt out.
Server and security logs
Like any website, our hosting provider and its content delivery network receive standard request information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver pages, keep the site secure and fix errors. We don’t combine it with other data or use it to identify you.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to fix any error you report, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
Third-party links
This site links to third-party websites (for example, sources cited in our guides and card issuers’ agreements). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
