Terms of Use
Last updated: October 26, 2026
These Terms of Use cover your use of CalcMyCard (calcmycard.com, “we,” “us,” or “this site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What this site is
CalcMyCard offers free credit card calculators and plain-English guides for people in the United States. You don’t need an account, and nothing on the site costs money. The site does not show ads; it uses Google Analytics to count visits, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Estimates, not financial advice
Every calculator result is an estimate for educational purposes. Most calculators use a simplified monthly-interest model (APR ÷ 12), while card issuers usually charge a daily periodic rate on the average daily balance and apply their own fees, grace period rules and payment allocation. Your real figures can differ, so always check your card statement and cardholder agreement. The Methodology page explains the formulas and their limits.
Nothing on this site is financial, tax, credit or legal advice, and using it does not create any adviser or client relationship. We are not a card issuer, lender or credit counselor. For decisions about your own accounts, talk to your card issuer or a qualified professional, such as a nonprofit credit counselor.
Accuracy
We test every calculator and cite sources in our guides (see the Editorial Policy), but rates, rules and card terms change, and mistakes can happen. We don’t promise that every page is complete, current or error-free. If you find an error, please tell us at contact@calcmycard.com and we will fix confirmed errors.
Your inputs and share links
The numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser and are not sent to our servers. If you use a calculator’s share link, your inputs are written into that link’s web address, so anyone you send it to can see them. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
Using our content
The text, calculators, code, design and downloads on this site are © CalcMyCard unless a page says otherwise. You may use the calculators and guides for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, and you may link to any page. You may embed a calculator on your blog, newsletter or community site with the embed code we provide on each calculator page, as long as you don’t change it or remove the link back to CalcMyCard. You may download and use our Excel template and data files for your own use; if you publish figures from our data study, please credit CalcMyCard with a link.
Please don’t copy or republish our guides or calculators as your own, scrape the site in a way that slows it down, try to break or get around its security, or use it for anything unlawful.
Links to other websites
Our guides link to outside sources, such as the Federal Reserve, the CFPB and card issuers’ agreements. We don’t control those sites, and a link is not an endorsement of the site, its owner or any product it offers. We have no affiliate links and are not paid for any link.
The site is provided “as is”
We provide CalcMyCard free and “as is,” without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We may change, pause or remove any page or calculator at any time.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, CalcMyCard and its owner are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on its results, including money spent on interest, fees or any financial decision. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@calcmycard.com or through our Contact page.
